My Hens’ Parties are famous in Adelaide for being the best belly dance, girl powered experience in town. The focus for Hens’ Parties is pure enjoyment rather than being overly technical and I have jingly hips scarves for borrowing to enhance your inner diva to ‘Dance like an Egyptian’.

My Hens’ Party sessions are popularly one hour but can this can easily be varied to suit your preference. It’s a wonderfully varied structure in which I seamlessly mix the learning aspect with fun dance activities. I also teach you a vibrant dance routine incorporating the moves you’ve learned which you can perform for the bride-to-be and in turn she may perform for you. Of course only she’s happy to be a showgirl in the spotlight for a moment!

To conclude I present a dynamic routine highlight in one of my glamorous glittering costumes to conclude so your guests can sit back, relax and be entertained by me at the end of their enjoyable session. You may come to my studio, being a historic 1860’s church, for your Hen’s Party session at 240 Franklin Street where I have a mirrored wall and stunning Egyptian styled décor throughout to really add to the atmosphere and impress. I can also come to you! Please keep in mind for venues further than 20 minutes from Adelaide CBD a nominal travel fee applies.

I am situated opposite the Benjamin on Franklin Hotel being close to the Gouger Street dining precinct which makes a perfect location to dine out or go for drinks afterward. You’re welcome to bring refreshments to energise and invigorate your ladies. I have a chilled water cooler here so plenty of hydration is available. Upon request, I can also incorporate a hint of Indian Bollywood which incorporates some high energy moves for those feeling extra lively.

I have been performing Egyptian Belly Dance worldwide for over 35 years. In addition, I have been teaching Egyptian Belly Dance for over 25 years locally and internationally. Therefore with over 14,000 classes and 10,000 shows worth of history and experience you’ll be in my very capable hands. I established my academy in 1995 and have since trained many teachers and performers so when you book me personally you’ll receive ‘the original and authentic’ Nayima Hassan class act experience at your party.

On October 26th 2014 I was asked to perform for Mick Jagger and guests at a small after-concert party at our InterContinental Adelaide hotel. The reaction to my show from musicians, crew and staff was outstanding and very complimentary with Mick Jagger personally cheering “yay Nayima” during my performance. I have also previously performed for Prince Edward and Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber in Covent Garden, London, which was also a celebrated success and beautifully received. Being equally special and memorable, are my thousands of events right here in my beloved home town of Adelaide. My experience and presentation, as is frequently remarked upon, sets me apart from others in Adelaide and has gained me a reputation as South Australia’s leading lady of Middle Eastern Dance and one of Australia’s finest.
